Speaker Nancy Pelosi ‘thanked’ George Floyd for “sacrificing” his life for justice after the jury reached a ‘guilty’ verdict on all counts against Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin.

As reported earlier, the jury found Chauvin guilty of second-degree murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter.

There had been controversy over Floyd’s cause of death, since he had fentanyl and methamphetamine in his system, a heart condition, and COVID-19.

Speaker Pelosi nonetheless attempted to frame Floyd as a martyr. Floyd was arrested while he was under the influence of drugs for attempting to pass counterfeit currency. He died after the infamous incident with Derek Chauvin using a restraint on Floyd, where he kneeled on him for an estimated nine-and-a-half minutes.

She appeared at a press conference and made the ludicrous claim.

PELOSI: George Floyd’s name “will always be synonymous with justice and dignity and grace and prayerfulness.”

NBC reporter Alex Moe reported on what Pelosi had said.

“Speaker Pelosi speaking at presser with CBC: Thank you George Floyd for sacrificing your life for justice…Because of you and because of thousands, millions of people around the world who came out for justice, your name will always be synonymous for justice.”

George Floyd neither intended to become a martyr, nor does his background suggest that he should be idolized by America’s youth. In 2009, Floyd served a five-year prison sentence as part of a plea deal on the 2007 charge of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, the Houston Chronicle reported.

Regardless of what caused George Floyd’s death, it certainly wasn’t an intentional sacrifice on his part to push the left’s radical political agenda.
