Donald Trump has unloaded on the state of Georgia after the news it was moving to secure its elections by purging tens of thousands of names from the state’s voter rolls.

“Georgia will pull about 100,000 ‘obsolete and outdated voter files’ after recent voting rights law controversies, according to its secretary of state,” the NY Post reported on Sunday.

“Making sure Georgia’s voter rolls are up to date is key to ensuring the integrity of our elections,” Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said in a statement.

“That is why I fought and beat Stacey Abrams in court in 2019 to remove nearly 300,000 obsolete voter files before the November election, and will do so again this year,” Raffensperger added. “Bottom line, there is no legitimate reason to keep ineligible voters on the rolls.”

“The 101,789 obsolete voter files that are set to be yanked are comprised of about 67,000 people who have changed their addresses, 34,000 whose election mail was ‘returned to sender’ about 275 Georgians who had ‘no-contact with elections officials’ for five years or more, according to the secretary of state,” the Post noted.

Trump released a statement on Tuesday blasting the state for acting too late to ensure election integrity.

“Georgia now plans to remove over 100,000 ‘obsolete and outdated’ names off their voter rolls,” Trump said. “Doing this, they say, will ensure voting files are up to date, while at the same time ensuring voter integrity in future elections.”

“But what about the last election?” he wrote. “Why wasn’t this done prior to the November 3rd presidential election, where they had us losing by a very small number of voters, many times less than the 101,789 figure?” he asked. Donald Trump was reported to have lost by fewer than 12,000 votes.

“This means we (you!) won the Presidential Election in Georgia,” he added. “But don’t fret, much other information will soon be revealed about Georgia–and other States, as well. It is coming out Fast and Furious. The 2020 Presidential Election was rigged!”

On Monday, Henry County Judge Brian Amero was expected to rule on whether or not the Fulton County election audit can proceed as planned. Instead, he postponed the decision by a week.

During the course of the proceedings, the Fulton County elections workers’ defense team used stark language about the possibility of double-counted ballots in the election.

“We will not count counterfeit ballots in future elections,” the Fulton County defense conceded. “Even if we were to assume for the sake of argument that they were right, that they were counted in the past, and we are not admitting that, we agree you can’t count counterfeit ballots. You can’t scan absentee ballots twice. You can’t count somebody’s vote twice.”

The defense then claimed that there is no “current controversy.” And furthermore, there is nothing for the court to adjudicate. Tens of thousands of Georgia voters and millions of American voters would disagree.

The civil case being brought by Garland Favorito argues that double-counting by election workers potentially occurred after election observers were sent home. The audit would potentially explain what appeared on CCTV video to be Fulton County election workers running ballots through tabulators multiple times. Watch:

The tone at the Henry County court proceedings about the possible double-counting of ballots is a marked contrast to mainstream media reports that it was a baseless “conspiracy theory.” Social media platforms even ran “fact checks” that asserted it was impossible that the double-counting occurred. The Federalist’s Mollie Hemingway rightly pointed out that the State Farm vote-counting video was not “debunked,” as the mainstream media claimed.

Furthermore, the court proceedings addressed the lack of security at the warehouse where the ballots were being stored. Judge Amero pointed out that it was the responsibility of the Fulton County sheriff’s office alone to provide security for the ballots. Earlier, reports that the warehouse was unsecured spurred speculation that any potential audit of the 2020 election would thus be flawed.

“This is a picture is that the attorney provided of the door left open at the supposedly secure building were the ballots are being kept,” Newsmax’s Emerald Robinson wrote.

Donald Trump earlier commented on the startling development.

“BREAKING: Alarm Went Off at Secure Building in Fulton County Georgia Where Ballots Are Kept – Building Found Wide Open,” Trump wrote. “Great work is being done in Georgia revealing the Election Fraud of the 2020 Presidential Election. But, we must not allow ANYONE to compromise these ballots by leaving the building unsecured, which was done late Friday.”

“Republicans and Patriots must protect this site and the Absentee Ballots,” he continued. “The Left talks about election security but they do not practice what they preach because they are afraid of what might be found. Fulton County Leadership—do the right thing and protect these ballots. Our Country is at stake!”
