Hong Kong’s public swimming pools and beaches reopened this week following coronavirus restrictions that have kept thousands of competitive swimmers out. Furthermore, this has had an adverse impact on training systems aimed at developing elite swimmers in Hong Kong’s former British colony. “Reopening only part of our swimming pools may be catastrophic in several years’ time for our elite swimmers,” according to Hong Kong Amateur Swimming Association.

As an interim measure, we’ve curated some of Hong Kong’s most breathtaking and exquisite pools. Whether you’re an experienced swimmer looking to complete laps or simply looking to unwind under the sun, these idyllic swimming spots will leave you with a sense of serenity and tranquility.
